Udaipur is a Beautiful Lakes City of Rajasthan. Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.

Ahmedabad To Udaipur Tour

Day 01: Ahmedabad - Udaipur (255 km) Travel time 5/6 hours (Approx)

On arrival at Ahmedabad, pick up from Ahmedabad Airport/Railway station and straight drive to Udaipur – Is a beautiful Lake & Romantic City of Rajasthan, India and built by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1559 A.D. On arrival at Udaipur, check in to hotel. After refresh visit to City Palace Museum – Standing on the bank of Lake Pichola, are massive series of palaces built at different time commencing from 1559 A.D. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic view of "Jag Niwas", Jag Mandir on one side and on the other side the city of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple – Is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur in Rajasthan. A big tourist attraction, the temple was originally called the temple of Jagannath Rai but is now called Jagdish Ji. It is a major monument in Udaipur. Sahelion Ki Bari – This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiselled kiosks and marble elephants. Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum – The interesting collection exhibited by this Indian folk arts museum includes folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. Maharana Pratap Memorial – Moti Magri or Pearl Hill: A top the Moti Magri or Pearl Hill, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake is the memorial of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap with a bronze statue of the Maharana astride his favourite horse "Chetak". Later take a tour of Lake Pichola by Cruise and overnight stay at Udaipur hotel.

Day 02: Udaipur - Ekling Ji and Nagda Temples - Udaipur (22 Km)

After breakfast visit to Ekling Ji Temples and Nagda Temple both the temples are very beautiful. First we will visit to Ekling Ji Temples – Ekling Ji is a Hindu temple complex in Udaipur and is famous for its one hundred and eight temples enclosed by a high, fortified wall. It is entirely made by the white marble. The temple complex is located on the shore of Indersagar Lake. About 1 KM beyond the temple is the cave of Bapa Rawal, which is now a pleasant picnic spot. Nagda Temples - The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and it is made in two structures, one by a mother-in-law and another, by a daughter-in-law. The main entrance to the temples is made through a door that has carved lintels and a multi-lobed arch in its middle. Both the structures are laid out on a same plan having an altar, a mandapa (columned prayer hall) with projections and a porch. The temple of Sas is comparatively larger than that of the Bahu. Later drive back to Udaipur and visit to Fateh Sagar & Neharu Park – A beautiful lake, overlooked by a number of hills on the three sides and the Pratap Memorial on the north was built by Maharana Fateh Singh. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park - a lovely garden island with a boat shaped cafe accessible by an enjoyable boat ride. Later free for shopping and overnight stay at Udaipur hotel.

Day 03: Udaipur Departure

After breakfast check out from Udaipur hotel and proceed to your onwards destination.
