Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts. Shimla is home to a number of buildings that are styled in the Tudorbethan and neo-Gothic architectures dating from the colonial era, as well as multiple temples and churches. The colonial architecture and churches, the temples and the natural beauty of the city attract a large number of tourists. Shimla is situated at a height of 2200 Meters from the see level.

Manali is a Valley nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley at an altitude of 2,050 Meters (6,726 ft) in the Beas River Valley. It is located in the Kullu district, about 270 KM north of the state capital, Shimla. Manali It is a popular tourist destination and serves as the gateway to Lahaul & Spiti district as well as Leh. Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Dharamshala – Dharamshala is located at Dhauladhar Mountain Range in the foothills of the Himalayas. Mc Leod Ganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is also known as "Little Lhasa" in India, because of its large population of Tibetans.

Dalhousie and Khajjiar – Dalhousie quietly ensconced amidst pine trees with a charming background of the snow clad Himalaya, has a breathtaking scenic beauty. The hill station is surrounded by meadows and forests. It is about 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level in the foothills of the Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges of the Western Himalayas and peaks can be seen in the distance.

Amritsar is home to the Harmandir Sahib (commonly known as the Golden Temple), the spiritual and cultural centre for the Sikh religion. This important Sikh shrine attracts more visitors than the Taj Mahal and is the most popular destination for non-resident Indians (NRI) in the whole of India. Wagah Border is the only road boarder crossing between Pakistan and India between Amritsar and Lahore cities. The international border between India and Pakistan is located at a distance of 34 km from Amritsar.

SHIMLA - KULLU MANALI - DHARAMSHALA - DALHOUSIE - AMRITSAR

Day 01: Delhi – Shimla (365 Km) Travel time 8/9 hours (Approx)

Morning arrive at Delhi, pick up from Delhi Airport/Railway station and straight drive to Shimla. Evening arrival at Shimla, check in to hotel. Shimla is the capital city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Shimla was the summer capital of British India. Considered to be the Queen of the hills and it is famous and popular hill tourist destination of India for the memorable holidays. It is also known as “Dev Bhoomi” (The land of god). Later free for independent activities and overnight stay at Shimla hotel.  

Day 02: Shimla – Kufri – Fagu – Naldehra – Shimla (25 Km)

After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Shimla and visit several prominent tourist attractions of Shimla like Sankat Mochan Temple, Kali Bari Temple, Jakhu Hills/Temple, visit Indra Gandhi Tourist Bungalow, enjoy horse ride at Kufri forest area at Kufri, Fagu and Naldehra. Evening return back to Shimla and visit to Scandal Point, Vice Regal Lodge, Christ Church. Later free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla city at The Mall & The Ridge and overnight stay at Shimla hotel.

Day 03: Shimla – Kullu – Manali (265 Km) Travel time 8/9 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Shimla hotel and drive to Manali en route visiting Sunder Nagar Dam, Pandoh Dam (A beautiful spot for the capture of memorable photo shot), Hanogi Mata Temple, Mata Vaishno Devi Temple (Small Temple at Kullu), Kullu Handicraft Industry. Evening arrival at Manali, check in to hotel and overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 04: Manali Local Sightseeing Tour 

After leisurely breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing tour of Manali town and visiting Hadimba Devi Temple (Temple is dedicated to the wife of Bheem), Manu Temple – This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world. Club House – Club House is an amusement zone and it has indoor game facilities. Vashisht Temple & Sulpher hot spring) – This temple is dedicated to the great sage Vashisht in the village of Vashisht located 3 Km away from Manali. Tibetan Monastery – Tibetan Monastery is one of the famous tourist spot in Manali and is famous for weaving colour full carpets and Van Vihar – Van Vihar is a famous picnic spot in Manali also famous for Indian movies shooting at Mall Road. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Manali town at The Mall and overnight stay at Manali hotel.  

Day 05: Manali – Rohtang Pass Tour – Manali (51 Km) 3/4 Hours journey (Up to snow point in winter)

After early breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour and drive to Rohtang Pass – Located at a height of 3979 Meters and at a distance of 51 km from Manali. Rohtang Pass is on the highway to Keylong/Leh. In winters, the pass remains closed but is open from June to October for motor vehicles. This pass is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh Ladakh Valley. En route visiting Nehru Kund, Kothi, Gulaba Fall (Water Fall), Rahalla Fall (Water Fall), Marhi, Rani Nalaha and Rohtang Pass (Up to snow line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall). Evening return back to Manali, on the way back visit to Solang Valley – Famous for winter ice sports, adventure activities/rock climbing and Rope way ride. Continue drive back to Manali. On arrival at Manali, free for independent activities or explore The Mall and overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 06: Manali – Palampur – Dharamshala (245 Km) Travel time 8/9 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Manali hotel and drive to Dharamshala en route visiting Palampur – Palampur is a famous town for its plantation of tea and green hill station in the Kangra Valley in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by tea gardens and pine forests. Evening arrive at Dharamshala, check in hotel. After refresh free for your own activities and overnight stay at Dharamshala hotel.

Day 07: Dharamshala Local Sightseeing Tour – Dalhousie (155 Km) Travel time 5/6 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for half day local sightseeing tour of Dharamshala town – Dharamshala is located at Dhauladhar Mountain Range in the foothills of the Himalayas. Mc Leod Ganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is also known as "Little Lhasa" in India, because of its large population of Tibetans. Day 08: Dalhousie Local Sightseeing – Khajjiar – Dalhousie (24 Km) 1 Hours journey

After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Dalhousie and Khajjiar – Dalhousie quietly ensconced amidst pine trees with a charming background of the snow clad Himalaya, has a breathtaking scenic beauty. The hill station is surrounded by meadows and forests. It is about 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level in the foothills of the Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges of the Western Himalayas and peaks can be seen in the distance. Drive to Khajjiar en route visiting St. Francis Church, Bakrota Hills, Subhash Bowly, Panjpulla/Panchpula, Dainkund, Kalatop Sanctuary – Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary at Kalatop and Khajjiar in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The sanctuary area is well laid out for trekking trails both at Kalatop and Khajjiar. On arrival at Khajjiar visit Khajji Lake – Khajjiar is also known as mini Switzer Land of India. It is the most exotic and scenic beauty place around 24 Km from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is officially proclaimed the mini-Switzerland of India. At an altitude of 6450 ft, this saucer shaped green meadow, ringed by Devadar Trees has a lake in the middle complete with floating island. Evening drive back to Dalhousie and after refresh free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Dalhousie town The Mall at Gandhi Chowk and overnight stay at Dalhousie hotel.

Day 09: Dalhousie – Wagah Boarder – Amritsar (210 + 34 Km) Travel time 5/6 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Dalhousie hotel and drive to Amritsar en route visiting Wagah Border – Wagah is the only road boarder crossing between Pakistan and India between Amritsar and Lahore cities. The international border between India and Pakistan is located at a distance of 34 km from Amritsar. On arrival at Wagah Boarder watch the flag closing ceremony at Indo – Pak boarder. Evening arrive at Amritsar, check in hotel. After refresh visit Golden TempleIt is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spot for Sikhs. Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, also Sri Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the "Golden Temple", is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism, located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. Day 10: Amritsar – Delhi Departure (450 Km) Travel time 9 hours (Approx)

After breakfasts check out from Amritsar hotel and proceed for visit Jallianwala Bagh – The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919 when a crowd of nonviolent protesters, along with Baishakhi, who had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, Punjab, were fired upon by troops of the British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer. Later straight drive to Delhi, evening arrive at Delhi and drop off to Delhi Airport/Railway station for further journey back to home or onwards destination.
