ABOUT DESTINATIONS
Bikaner city is located 300 Km from the state capital, Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It's surrounded by the Thar Desert. The city is known for Junagarh Fort, a huge complex of ornate buildings and halls. Within the fort, the Prachina Museum displays traditional textiles and royal portraits. Nearby, the Karni Mata Temple, which is a home to many rats considered sacred by the Hindu devotees.
Jaisalmer – Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City" Once known as Jaisalmer state it is a World Heritage Site. Jaisalmer is famous for its yellow sandstone structures, dusky landscape and romantic sand dunes.
Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan, located in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan, featuring many places, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright and sunny weather it enjoys all the year round. Jodhpur is also known as "Blue City" because of the blue colours that decorate many of the houses in the old city area.
Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border, situated at an altitude of 1219 Meters from the see level. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below. In the center of town, Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating. Close by are the centuries-old Dilwara Temples, ornately carved from white marble and of great spiritual importance.
Ajmer is one of the major cities in the Indian state of Rajasthan and is the centre of the eponymous Ajmer District. Ajmer is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains. It is a pilgrimage centre for the shrine of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is also the base for visiting Pushkar (11 km), an ancient Hindu pilgrimage city, famous for the temple of Brahma. Ajmer Sharif Dargah is 2 KM away from the main central Ajmer Railway station and situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill and consists of several white marble buildings arranged around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Akbari Mosque, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
Pushkar is a town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated 14 Km northwest of Ajmer at an average elevation of 510 Meters (1,670 ft) and is one of the five sacred Dhams (pilgrimage site) for devout Hindus. Pushkar is one of the oldest existing cities of India and it lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Brahma with its creation. Tourists can explore the rugged terrain of the Great Indian Desert of Thar using camels. The Aravalli Range here is one of the world's oldest mountain ranges, and has sandy fields, small dunes, beautiful hills and mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets.

Day 01: Arrival at Bikaner
Arrive at Bikaner, pick up from Airport/Railway station and transfer to hotel, check in to hotel. After refresh visit to Camel breeding farm. Later explore local market of Bikaner city and overnight stay at Bikaner hotel.
Day 02: Bikaner Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Bikaner and visit to Junagarh Fort – One of the most attractive forts in Bikaner is Junagarh fort. It was built by Maharaja Rai Singh. The entire fort is steeped in deep history due to which it appeals to the tourists to a great extent. The fort is completely built with red sandstone brought from the Thar Desert. Also visit Anup Mahal, Ganga Niwas, Rang Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Prachina Museum, Phool Mahal, Lalgarh Palace, Laxmi Niwas Palace and Karni Mata Temple. Later come back to hotel and overnight stay at Bikaner hotel.
Day 03: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (341 Km) Travel time 8 hours (Approx)
After early breakfast check out from Bikaner hotel and drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival at Jaisalmer, check in to hotel. After refresh visit to Gadisar Lake – It was the only source of water for the Jaisalmer city in the olden days. A manmade reservoir, the Gadishar Lake in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan was constructed by Raja Rawal Jaisal, the first ruler of Jaisalmer. In the later years Maharaja Garisisar Singh rebuilt and revamped the lake. In evening proceed for camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes and you can experience the spectacular view of Sun set in Thar Desert. Vyas Chhatri – One of the best places in Jaisalmer to observe a sunset view from Vyas Chhatri. Later come back to hotel and overnight stay at Jaisalmer hotel/camp.
Day 04: Jaisalmer Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer and visit to Jaisalmer Fort – Jaisalmer Fort is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. It is situated in the city of Jaisalmer, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1156 AD by the Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal, from whom it derives its name. The fort stands amidst the sandy expanse of the great Thar Desert, on Trikuta Hill. This fort is made by unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why it’s known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. Patwon Ki Haveli – The Patwon Ji ki Haveli is an interesting piece of Architecture and is the most important among the havelis in Jaisalmer. This is precisely because of two things, first that it was the first haveli erected in Jaisalmer and second, that it is not a single haveli but a cluster of 5 small havelis. The first among these havelis was constructed in the year 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa and is the biggest and the most ostentatious. Nathmal Ki Haveli – The haveli was built in the late 19th century. The construction of the mansion was commissioned by Maharawal Beri Sal for the then prime minister. The construction of the mansion was assigned to two brothers who started working on the left and right wings individually. Even though both the wings are constructed by different people but the symmetry is still maintained. Both the wings have different carvings. Salim Singh Ki Haveli – Salim Singh ki Haveli was built by erstwhile Prime Minister of Jaisalmer, Salim Singh Mehta. The 17th century haveli was erected on the remains of an older haveli. Having completed 300 years of existence, the marvelous palace has served as the family home of Mehtas of Jaisalmer since 1815. Jain Temples – There are seven Jain temples in total which are situated within the Jaisalmer fort built during 12th and 15th centuries. Among these temples, the biggest one is The Paraswanath Temple and is most attractive; others being Chandraprabhu Temple, Rishabdev Temple, Shitalnath Temple, Kunthunath Temple and Shantinath Temple. Evening go for a unique experience of the Desert alike Arabian night by making overnight stay over sand dunes with tented accommodation with cultural program and also enjoy photogenic sunset on camel back and overnight stay at camp.
Day 05: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (290 Km) Travel time 5/6 hours (Approx)
After early breakfast check out from Jaisalmer camp and drive back to Jodhpur. On arrival at Jodhpur, check in to hotel. After refresh, proceed for Jodhpur sightseeing tour and visit to Jaswant Thada – The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located in Jodhpur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and serves as the burial ground for the rulers of Marwar. Umaid Bhawan Palace – Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Mehrangarh Fort – Mehrangarh Fort, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Also visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Later free for your own activities and overnight stay at Jodhpur hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur – Mount Abu Sightseeing Tour (268 Km) Travel time 6 hours (Approx)
After early breakfast check out from Jodhpur hotel and drive to Mount Abu. On arrival at Mount Abu, check in to hotel. After refresh visit to the world famous Dilwara Jain Temple – The Dilwara Jain Temple is located about 2.5 Km from Amount Abu. These Jain temples were built by Vastapul Tejpal, a Jain laymen between the 11th and 13th centuries AD and are world famous for their stunning use of marble. The five legendary marble temples of Dilwara are a sacred pilgrimage place of the Jains. Some consider them to be one of the most beautiful Jain pilgrimage sites in the world. The marble temples have an opulent entranceway, the simplicity in architecture reflecting Jain values like honesty and frugality. Guru Shikhar – Guru Shikhar is the highest point in Mount Abu and forms the highest point in the Aravalli Mountain Range. Abu Road – Although this is a totally different town, situated near the Banas River, Abu road is a must visit. Brahma Kumari Ashram and enjoy boat riding over the Nakki Lake. Later explore local market of Mount Abu and overnight stay at Mount Abu hotel.
Day 07: Mount Abu – Ajmer – Pushkar (365 Km) Travel time 8 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Mount Abu hotel and drive to Pushkar en route visiting Ajmer Sharif Dargah – A Tomb of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Again drive to Pushkar, on arrive at Pushkar and check in to hotel. Later free for your own activities or explore local market of Pushkar and overnight stay at Pushkar hotel.
Day 08: Pushkar Sightseeing Tour – Departure
After breakfast check out from Pushkar hotel and proceed for half day sightseeing tour and visit to Brahma Ji Temple – Pushkar is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe according to Indian mythology, It is said that Brahma performed penance here for 60,000 years. Pushkar has many temples.. The most famous among all is the Brahma Temple. Pushkar Lake – The prime attraction of Pushkar is the Pushkar Lake, water of this lake is considered sacred like the Mansarovar Lake in Tibet. Pushkar has become a place of Hindu pilgrimage because of this Holy Lake and Legend of Lord Brahma. Savitri Temple – Savitri Temple is located at on the top of Ratnagiri Hill, Savitri Temple has a legend behind it. Built in 1687, it is said to be the place where the Goddess Savitri came and rested after revolting with her husband on marrying another woman. This temple was built by her and served as a lookout to watch her husband’s erring ways. You may also visit Rose Garden. Later transfer to Pushkar Railway station to board the train for further journey back to home.
