ABOUT DESTINATIONS
Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan in Northern India. It was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amer after whom the city is named. As of 2011, the city has a population of 3.1 million, making it the eleventh most populous city in the country. Jaipur is the third largest city in north India after Delhi and Lucknow respectively. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City of India. Jaipur is located 260 KM from the Indian capital New Delhi. Jaipur forms a part of the west Golden Triangle tourist circuit along with Agra (240 KM). Jaipur is a popular tourist destination in India and serves as a gateway to other tourist destinations in Rajasthan such as Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur and Mount Abu. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence.
Ajmer is one of the major cities in the Indian state of Rajasthan and is the centre of the eponymous Ajmer District. Ajmer is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains. It is a pilgrimage centre for the shrine of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is also the base for visiting Pushkar (11 km), an ancient Hindu pilgrimage city, famous for the temple of Brahma. Ajmer Sharif Dargah is 2 KM away from the main central Ajmer Railway station and situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill and consists of several white marble buildings arranged around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Akbari Mosque, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
Pushkar is a town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated 14 Km northwest of Ajmer at an average elevation of 510 Meters (1,670 ft) and is one of the five sacred Dhams (pilgrimage site) for devout Hindus. Pushkar is one of the oldest existing cities of India and it lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Brahma with its creation. Tourists can explore the rugged terrain of the Great Indian Desert of Thar using camels. The Aravalli Range here is one of the world's oldest mountain ranges, and has sandy fields, small dunes, beautiful hills and mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets.
Udaipur is a Beautiful Lakes City of Rajasthan. Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.
Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border, situated at an altitude of 1219 Meters from the see level. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below. In the center of town, Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating. Close by are the centuries-old Dilwara Temples, ornately carved from white marble and of great spiritual importance.
Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan, located in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan, featuring many places, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright and sunny weather it enjoys all the year round. Jodhpur is also known as "Blue City" because of the blue colours that decorate many of the houses in the old city area.

Day 01: Arrival at Jaipur + Jaipur Sightseeing
Arrival at Jaipur, pick up from Jaipur Airport/Railway station and transfer to the hotel. Check in to hotel. Jaipur is a largest city of Rajasthan and is known as pink city of Rajasthan, founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and is famous for its magnanimous hospitality, beautiful palaces, forts and colour full markets. Later half day sightseeing tour of Jaipur city and visit to City Palace/Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Manter, Birla Temple (Laxmi Narayan Temple) and Sheesh Mahal. Evening explore colour full local market of Jaipur city and overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.
Day 02: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur city and visit to Amber Fort – Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the state. Nahargarh Fort – Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the pink city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. One of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur, Nahargarh Fort is noted for its extended wall which connects it to the Jaigarh Fort. Jai Garh Fort – situated on the majestic Chilh-ka-Tola or the hill of eagles. Jal Mahal – Jal Mahal is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. Evening explore local market of Jaipur city and overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur – Ajmer – Pushkar Sightseeing Tour (142 Km) Travel time 3 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Jaipur hotel and drive to Pushkar en route visiting Ajmer Sharif Dargah, A Tomb of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. On arrival at Pushkar, check in to hotel. Later proceed for Pushkar sightseeing and explore Brahma Ji Temple – Pushkar is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe according to Indian mythology, It is said that Brahma performed penance here for 60,000 years. Pushkar has many temples.. The most famous among all is the Brahma Temple. Pushkar Lake – The prime attraction of Pushkar is the Pushkar Lake, water of this lake is considered sacred like the Mansarovar Lake in Tibet. Pushkar has become a place of Hindu pilgrimage because of this Holy Lake and Legend of Lord Brahma. Savitri Temple – Savitri Temple is located at on the top of Ratnagiri Hill, Savitri Temple has a legend behind it. Built in 1687, it is said to be the place where the Goddess Savitri came and rested after revolting with her husband on marrying another woman. This temple was built by her and served as a lookout to watch her husband’s erring ways. You may also visit Rose Garden. Later free for independent activities or explore local market of Pushkar and overnight stay at Pushkar hotel.
Day 04: Pushkar – Udaipur (286 Km) Travel time 6/7 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Pushkar hotel and drive to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur, check in to hotel. Evening enjoy boating over the Lake Pichola to admire the royal buildings around the lake and also enjoy the scenic sunset view. Later come back to hotel and overnight stay at Udaipur hotel.
Day 05: Udaipur Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Udaipur city and visiting Fateh Sagar & Neharu Park – A beautiful lake, overlooked by a number of hills on the three sides and the Pratap Memorial on the north was built by Maharana Fateh Singh. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park - a lovely garden island with a boat shaped cafe accessible by an enjoyable boat ride. Maharana Pratap Memorial – Moti Magri or Pearl Hill: A top the Moti Magri or Pearl Hill, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake is the memorial of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap with a bronze statue of the Maharana astride his favourite horse "Chetak". Sahelion Ki Bari – This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiselled kiosks and marble elephants. Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum – The interesting collection exhibited by this Indian folk arts museum includes folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. City Palace Museum – standing on the bank of Lake Pichola, are massive series of palaces built at different time commencing from 1559 A.D. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic view of "Jag Niwas", Jagdish Mandir on one side and on the other side the city of Udaipur. Evening explore local market of Udaipur city and overnight stay at Udaipur hotel.
Day 06: Udaipur – Mount Abu Sightseeing (165 Km) Travel time 3/4 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Udaipur hotel and drive to Mount Abu. On arrival at Mount Abu, check in to hotel. After refresh proceed for sightseeing tour of Mount Abu and visit to the world famous Dilwara Jain Temple – The Dilwara Jain Temple is located about 2.5 Km from Amount Abu. These Jain temples were built by Vastapul Tejpal, a Jain laymen between the 11th and 13th centuries AD and are world famous for their stunning use of marble. The five legendary marble temples of Dilwara are a sacred pilgrimage place of the Jains. Some consider them to be one of the most beautiful Jain pilgrimage sites in the world. The marble temples have an opulent entranceway, the simplicity in architecture reflecting Jain values like honesty and frugality. Guru Shikhar – Guru Shikhar is the highest point in Mount Abu and forms the highest point in the Aravalli Mountain Range. Abu Road – Although this is a totally different town, situated near the Banas River, Abu road is a must visit. Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary – Is located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of India, the Aravalli range. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1980. Also visit Brahma Kumari Ashram and enjoy boat riding at Nakki Lake. Later explore local market of Mount Abu and overnight stay at Mount Abu hotel.
Day 07: Mount Abu – Jodhpur Sightseeing (268 Km) Travel time 6 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Mount Abu hotel and drive to Jodhpur. On arrival at Jodhpur, check in to hotel. After refresh get ready for sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city and visit to Jaswant Thada – The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located in Jodhpur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and serves as the burial ground for the rulers of Marwar. Umaid Bhawan Palace – Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Mehrangarh Fort – Mehrangarh Fort, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Also visit Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal. Later explore local market of Jodhpur city and overnight stay at Jodhpur hotel.
Day 08: Jodhpur – Departure Airport/Railway Station
After breakfast check out from hotel and visit to Clock Tower. Later transfer to Jodhpur Airport/Railway station for further journey back to home or onward destination.
