ABOUT DESSTINATIONS
Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan, located in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan. Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan, featuring many places, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert. The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright and sunny weather it enjoys all the year round. Jodhpur is also known as "Blue City" because of the blue colours that decorate many of the houses in the old city area.
Jaisalmer – Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City" Once known as Jaisalmer state it is a World Heritage Site. Jaisalmer is famous for its yellow sandstone structures, dusky landscape and romantic sand dunes.
Barmer is the district headquarters of the Barmer district in the state of Rajasthan, India. Barmer is a desert town and famous for its Fort, Temple’s, Parks, Lakes and small villages with Mud houses. Barmer is known for its rich crafts, dance and music.
Udaipur is a Beautiful Lakes City of Rajasthan. Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.

Day 01: Arrival at Jodhpur
On arrival at Jodhpur, pick up from Jodhpur Airport/Railway station and transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel. Later visit to Clock Tower and explore local market of Jodhpur and overnight stay at Jodhpur hotel.
Day 02: Jodhpur Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city and visit to Jaswant Thada – The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located in Jodhpur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and serves as the burial ground for the rulers of Marwar. Umaid Bhawan Palace – Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaj Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Mehrangarh Fort – Mehrangarh Fort, located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Also visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Later free for your own activities and overnight stay at Jodhpur hotel.
Day 03: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (290 Km) Travel time 6/7 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Jodhpur hotel and drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival at Jaisalmer, check in to hotel. After refresh visit to Gadisar Lake – It was the only source of water for the Jaisalmer city in the olden days. A manmade reservoir, the Gadishar Lake in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan was constructed by Raja Rawal Jaisal, the first ruler of Jaisalmer. In the later years Maharaja Garisisar Singh rebuilt and revamped the lake. In the evening proceed for camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes and you can experience the spectacular view of Sun set in Thar Desert. Vyas Chhatri – One of the best places in Jaisalmer to observe a sunset view from Vyas Chhatri. Later come back to hotel and overnight stay at Jaisalmer hotel/camp.
Day 04: Jaisalmer Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer and visit to Jaisalmer Fort – Jaisalmer Fort is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. It is situated in the city of Jaisalmer, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1156 AD by the Rajput ruler Rawal Jaisal, from whom it derives its name. The fort stands amidst the sandy expanse of the great Thar Desert, on Trikuta Hill. This fort is made by unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why it’s known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. Patwon Ki Haveli – The Patwon Ji ki Haveli is an interesting piece of Architecture and is the most important among the havelis in Jaisalmer. This is precisely because of two things, first that it was the first haveli erected in Jaisalmer and second, that it is not a single haveli but a cluster of 5 small havelis. The first among these havelis was constructed in the year 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa and is the biggest and the most ostentatious. Nathmal Ki Haveli – The haveli was built in the late 19th century. The construction of the mansion was commissioned by Maharawal Beri Sal for the then prime minister. The construction of the mansion was assigned to two brothers who started working on the left and right wings individually. Even though both the wings are constructed by different people but the symmetry is still maintained. Both the wings have different carvings. Salim Singh Ki Haveli – Salim Singh ki Haveli was built by erstwhile Prime Minister of Jaisalmer, Salim Singh Mehta. The 17th century haveli was erected on the remains of an older haveli. Having completed 300 years of existence, the marvelous palace has served as the family home of Mehtas of Jaisalmer since 1815. Jain Temples – There are seven Jain temples in total which are situated within the Jaisalmer fort built during 12th and 15th centuries. Among these temples, the biggest one is The Paraswanath Temple and is most attractive; others being Chandraprabhu Temple, Rishabdev Temple, Shitalnath Temple, Kunthunath Temple and Shantinath Temple. Evening go for a unique experience of the Desert alike Arabian night by making overnight stay over sand dunes with tented accommodation with cultural program and also enjoy photogenic sunset on camel back and overnight stay at camp.
Day 05: Jaisalmer – Barmer (153 Km) Travel time 3/4 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Jaisalmer hotel and drive to Barmer. On arrival at Barmer, check in to hotel. After refresh sightseeing tour of Barmer and visit to Barmer Fort – Famous Fort Siwana or Gadh Siwana is situated on a hilltop. The fort was built by a famous Jaitamal Rathore Rajput ruler Raja Bhoj’s son Veernarayan. Barmer fort is the center of attraction for the tourists in Barmer. Barmer has ruins of the old Barmer fort on the top of rocky hill. The entire district of Barmer is known for its fort which is locally known as Gadh Siwana which when translated means fort. Kiradu Temples – The Kiradu temples are located at about 35 km from Barmer and 157 km from Jaisalmer in a town situated in Thar Desert in the Indian state of Rajasthan. There are five temples in all and most remarkable of them Someshvara Temple. These temples feature impressive sculpture and a Solanki style of architecture. Balark Sun Temple – The Temple is located at a distance of 42 Km from Barmer town, located on the top of rocky hill in Juna Barmer. The temple is sited near the ruins of an old Barmer fort. This temple is dedicated to the Sun God. In fact, the very name Balark denotes Rising Sun. Evening explore local market of Barmer and overnight stay at Barmer hotel.
Day 06: Barmer – Udaipur (337 Km) Travel time 6/7 hours (Approx)
After breakfast check out from Barmer hotel and drive to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur, check in to hotel. Evening enjoy boating over the Lake Pichola to admire the royal buildings around the lake and also enjoy the scenic sunset view. Later come back to hotel and overnight stay at Udaipur hotel.
Day 07: Udaipur Local Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Udaipur city and visit to Fateh Sagar & Neharu Park – A beautiful lake, overlooked by a number of hills on the three sides and the Pratap Memorial on the north was built by Maharana Fateh Singh. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park - a lovely garden island with a boat shaped cafe accessible by an enjoyable boat ride. Maharana Pratap Memorial – Moti Magri or Pearl Hill: A top the Moti Magri or Pearl Hill, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake is the memorial of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap with a bronze statue of the Maharana astride his favourite horse "Chetak". Saheliyon Ki Bari – This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools, chiselled kiosks and marble elephants. Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum – The interesting collection exhibited by this Indian folk arts museum includes folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. City Palace Museum – standing on the bank of Lake Pichola, are massive series of palaces built at different time commencing from 1559 A.D. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic view of "Jag Niwas", Jag Mandir on one side and on the other side the city of Udaipur. Evening enjoy the boating over Lake Pichola. Later explore local market of Udaipur and overnight stay at Udaipur hotel.
Day 08: Udaipur – Departure Airport/Railway Station
After breakfast check out from Udaipur hotel and transfer to Udaipur Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for further journey back to home or onward destination.
