ABOUT DESTINATIONS

Matheran – It is a smallest hill station of India, located at Karjat Tahsilin in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. It is located on the Western Ghats range at an elevation of around 800 Meters (2,625 ft) above from the sea level. It is about 100 km from Mumbai and 120 KM from Pune. Matheran's proximity to many metropolitan cities makes it a popular weekend getaway for urban residents. There are approximate 38 designated look-out "Points" (View Points) in Matheran, including the Panorama Point that provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding area and also the Neral town. From this point, the view of sunset and sunrise is dramatic. The Louisa Point offers crystal clear view of the Prabal Fort. The other points are the One Tree Hill Point, Heart Point, Monkey Point, Porcupine Point, Rambagh Point and more.

Lonavala or Lonavla is a town and a beauty full hill station in Pune district of Maharashtra. It is located at about 64 KM from the city of Pune and 96 KM from the city of Mumbai. It is known for its production of the hard candy “Chikky” and is also a major stop on the railway line connecting Mumbai and Pune. Lonavla and the adjacent Khandala are two hill stations 622 Meters (2,041 ft) above from the sea level, in the Sahyadri ranges that demarcate the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan coast. A trip to Lonavla and Khandala can be combined with sight-seeing visits of Karla, Bhaja and Bedsa caves and also the two fortresses, Lohagad and Visapur. Another place of interest is the Tungi Fort, one of the forts captured by Malik Ahmad near the village of Karjat and was known for its natural strength. 

Khandala is a hill station, near to Lonavala in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra state, located at about 3 KM from Lonavala and 7 KM from Karjat. Khandala is located at one (top) end the Bhor Ghat, a major Ghat (Valley) on the road link between the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan plain. Khandala is a common area for hiking. One destination is the nearby peak of Duke's Nose, which offers a panoramic view of Khandala and the Bhor Ghat.

Alibag – Also known as Alibaug is a coastal town, located at just south of Mumbai, Maharashtra in western India. It is known for its beaches like Alibag Beach and Varsoli Beach.

Day 01: Mumbai – Matheran Sightseeing Tour (100 Km) Travel time 2.5 hours (Approx)

Morning, pick up from Mumbai Airport/Railway station and drive to Matheran, Arrive at Matheran, take horse/hand cart/walk to the top. On arrival, check in to hotel, after refresh, proceed for sightseeing tour of Matheran and visit to some tourist attractions of Matheran like Panorama Point, Echo Point & Alexander Point. Later free for shopping, return back to hotel and overnight stay at Matheran hotel.

Day 02: Matheran Sightseeing Tour – Lonavala (63 Km) Travel time 1.5 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Matheran hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Matheran and visit to Charlotte Lake, Panther Cave, Louisa Point and Monkey Point etc. You can also enjoy horse riding in Matheran and can capture some memorable moments of your tour. Later drive to Lonavala, on arrival at Lonavala, check in to hotel and overnight stay at Lonavala hotel.

Day 03: Lonavala Sightseeing Tour – Alibagh via Khandala (75 Km) Travel time 2 hour (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Lonavala hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Lonavala and visit to popular tourist attraction of Lonavala like The Karla Caves – Are a complex of ancient Buddhist Indian rock-cut caves at Karli near Lonavala. The group at Karla is one of the older and smaller of the many rock-cut Buddhist sites in Maharashtra. Visapur Fort or Visapoor Fort – Is a hill fort near Visapur village in Maharashtra. It is a part of the Lohagad- Visapur fortification. Walwan Dam – Is a gravity dam on the Indrayani River near Lonavala, Pune district. Bhushi Dam – This Dam is most famous place in the Lonavala town, which is the popular spot for picnickers, here you can watch beauty full water fall near the dam, which is also a famous tourist spot of Lonavala. The Ryewood Park – Is located close to the Lonavala market, once was a Botanical Garden, now it is converted into a park. Marked by well maintained and landscaped lawns and gardens, it offers great view with variety of trees and colorful flowers. You can also visit to Wax Museum. After the sightseeing tour of Lonavala drive to Alibagh, en route visiting Khandala (Enjoy scenic view and pleasant weather of Khandala). Later continue drive to Alibagh, on arrival at Alibagh, check in to hotel. After refresh explore Nagaon Beach. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Alibagh hotel.

Day 04: Alibagh – Mumbai Departure Airport/Railway Station (104 Km) Travel time 2/3 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Alibagh hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Alibagh/Alibaug and visit to Kihim Beach, Janjira Fort, Alibagh Beach and Kulaba Fort. Later drive back to Mumbai, on arrival at Mumbai transfer to Mumbai Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for your further journey back to home or onward destination.
