Khandala is a hill station, near to Lonavala in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra state, located at about 3 KM from Lonavala and 7 KM from Karjat. Khandala is located at one (top) end the Bhor Ghat, a major Ghat (Valley) on the road link between the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan plain. Khandala is a common area for hiking. One destination is the nearby peak of Duke's Nose, which offers a panoramic view of Khandala and the Bhor Ghat.

Khandala Tour Package

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai – Khandala Sightseeing (110 Km) Travel time 3 hours (Approx)

Arrive at Mumbai, pick you from Mumbai Airport/Railway station and drive to Khandala, upon arrival at Khandala, check in to hotel. After refresh and some rest proceed for sightseeing tour of Khandala and visit to Tiger's Leap – Also known as Tiger's Point is a cliff-top with a sheer drop of over 650 Meters, giving an extensive view. It is one of the most fascinating spot in Khandala. Amrutanjan Point – Amrutanjan point is yet another point located high up in Khandala. It provides excellent view of the nearby places. The point is a well suited location for an enormous sight of the valley as well as the Duke's Nose. Also visit to Bhushi Dam – This Dam is most famous place in the Lonavala town, which is the popular spot for picnickers, here you can watch beauty full water fall near the dam, which is also a famous tourist spot of Lonavala. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Khandala hotel.

Day 02: Khandala Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Khandala and visit to popular tourist attraction of Khandala like Duke's Nose – A very popular place for trekking, Valley crossing, Rock climbing & rappelling. It is a 2506 feet tall straight cliff which every rock climber aspires to conquer. Karla Caves & Bhaja Caves – Are a complex of ancient Buddhist Indian rock-cut caves at Karli near Khandala, which is 16 Km from Khandala. The group at Karla is one of the older and smaller of the many rock-cut Buddhist sites in Maharashtra. Bhaja Caves are similar to Karla Caves but are on a much smaller scale. These caves are also in Chaitya style. Bhushi Lake – Bhushi Lake situated in Khandala is the ideal spot for all those who wish to relax in the lap of Mother Nature. Its serene and tranquil surroundings and crystal clear water provides immense opportunities for the tourists to rest in peace. The Ryewood Park – Is located close to the Lonavala market, once was a Botanical Garden, now it is converted into a park. Marked by well maintained and landscaped lawns and gardens, it offers great view with variety of trees and colorful flowers. You can also visit to Wax Museum. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Khandala hotel.

Day 03: Khandala – Mumbai Departure Airport/Railway Station (110 Km) Travel time 3 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Khandala hotel and drive back to Mumbai, upon arrival at Mumbai transfer to Mumbai Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for your further journey back to home or onward destination.
