ABOUT DESTINATIONS

Mumbai – Is the eastern equivalent of New York City and Los Angeles. Mumbai is a financial and entertainment (Bollywood) capital of the country. Places of interest include Haji Ali Dargah situated about 500 yards from the shoreline in the middle of the Arabian Sea. Along with being a religious place, it is a great attraction for tourists; more than ten thousand people of all religions visit the place every day. Gateway of India, The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a humongous architectural stone structure built by the British more than 200 years ago, Downtown Mumbai – reminiscent of the 19th century British architecture. Girgaon Chowpatty Beach, Madh island Beach and other Beaches towards the south of Mumbai. Elephanta Caves, carved out of a giant stone on an island are a short ferry away into the Arabian Sea. Due to its cosmopolitan nature, Mumbai has proven a popular tourism destination most often visited by Indians.

Khandala is a hill station, near to Lonavala in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra state, located at about 3 KM from Lonavala and 7 KM from Karjat. Khandala is located at one (top) end the Bhor Ghat, a major Ghat (Valley) on the road link between the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan plain. Khandala is a common area for hiking. One destination is the nearby peak of Duke's Nose, which offers a panoramic view of Khandala and the Bhor Ghat.

Lonavala or Lonavla is a town and a beauty full hill station in Pune district of Maharashtra. It is located at about 64 KM from the city of Pune and 96 KM from the city of Mumbai. It is known for its production of the hard candy “Chikky” and is also a major stop on the railway line connecting Mumbai and Pune. Lonavla and the Adjacent Khandala are two hill stations 622 Meters (2,041 ft) above from the sea level, in the Sahyadri ranges that demarcate the Deccan Plateau and the Konkan coast. A trip to Lonavla and Khandala can be combined with sight-seeing visits of Karla, Bhaja and Bedsa caves and also the two fortresses, Lohagad and Visapur. Another place of interest is the Tungi Fort, one of the forts captured by Malik Ahmad near the village of Karjat and was known for its natural strength. 

Panchgani – Also known as Paachgani is a famous hill station located in the Satara district of Maharashtra. Panchgani attracts many tourists throughout the year. A well-known Ganesh Temple is located close by in Wai. Panchgani's famous 'Table Land' has been the location for many Indian Movies, recently the location for the acclaimed movie "Taare Zameen Par" and "Agent Vinod".

Mahabaleshwar – Is a hill station in the state of Maharashtra, India, it lies at an altitude of 1373 Meters above from the sea level, in the Sahyadri Ranges. It features several elevated viewing points, such as Arthur’s Seat. West of here is centuries-old Pratapgad Fort, perched atop a mountain spur. East, Lingmala Waterfall tumbles off a sheer cliff. Colorful boats dot Venna Lake, while 5 rivers meet at Panch Ganga Temple to the north.

Alibag – Also known as Alibaug is a coastal town, located at just south of Mumbai, Maharashtra in western India. It is known for its beaches like Alibag Beach and Varsoli Beach.

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai + Mumbai Sightseeing Tour

Arrival at Mumbai, meet to our representative, who will pick you from Mumbai Airport/Railway station and will transfer to your pre booked hotel, after check in process, check in to your room. After refresh, proceed for sightseeing tour of Mumbai and begin your tour with a blessing of Lord Ganesh and visit to Shree Siddhivinayak Temple – Is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh. It is located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is one of the richest temples in Mumbai. Temple glory was bought not only by the politicians who frequented the temple but also Bollywood film stars who continuously visit to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Apple CEO Tim Cook began his 2016 India trip with morning prayers at the temple. Haji Ali Dargah – Haji Ali Dargah is a Mosque and Dargah (Tomb), located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern part of Mumbai. Near the heart of the city, the Dargah is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Mumbai. Gate of India – The Gateway of India is an arch monument built during the 20th centuary in Bombay. The Gateway of India is located on the waterfront at Apollo Bunder area at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea. The monument has also been referred to as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai and is the city's top tourist attraction. Marine Drive – Marine Drive is a 3.6 Km long boulevard in South Mumbai. Marine Drive is known as the “Queen's Necklace” because, if viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. Chaupati Beach – Chaupati is one of the famous public beaches adjoining Marine Drive in the  Girgaon area of Mumbai. The beach is noted for its Ganesh Visarjan celebrations when thousands of people from all over Mumbai and Pune come to immerse the idols of Lord Ganesh in the Arabian Sea. If time allow visit to Juhu Beach – Juhu Beach is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. It stretches for 6 Km up to Versova. It is a popular tourist attraction throughout the year and is also a sought after destination for shooting films. It is surrounded by the Arabian Sea to the west, Versova to the north, Santacruz and Vile Parle to the east and Khar to the south. Juhu is among the most affluent areas of the city and home to many Bollywood celebrities. If time allow, you can also visit to Prince of Wales Museum/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya and Hanging Garden. Later return back to hotel and free for your own activities or free for shopping by your own and overnight stay at Mumbai hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai – Khandala – Lonavala Sightseeing Tour (83 Km) Travel time 2/3 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Mumbai hotel and drive to Lonavala via Khandala with mesmerizing view of lush greenery. You can also take a short halt here and can capture some pictures for your love one. On arrival at Lonavala, check in to hotel. After refresh and some rest, proceed for sightseeing tour of Lonavala and visit to popular tourist attraction of Lonavala like The Karla Caves – Are a complex of ancient Buddhist Indian rock-cut caves at Karli near Lonavala. The group at Karla is one of the older and smaller of the many rock-cut Buddhist sites in Maharashtra. Visapur Fort or Visapoor Fort – Is a hill fort near Visapur village in Maharashtra. It is a part of the Lohagad – Visapur fortification. Walwan Dam – Is a gravity dam on the Indrayani River near Lonavala, Pune district. Bhushi Dam – This Dam is most famous place in the Lonavala town, which is the popular spot for picnickers, here you can watch beauty full water fall near the dam, which is also a famous tourist spot of Lonavala. The Ryewood Park – Is located close to the Lonavala market, once was a Botanical Garden, now it is converted into a park. Marked by well maintained and landscaped lawns and gardens, it offers great view with variety of trees and colorful flowers. Later visit to The Tungarli Dam/Lake – Is an artificial reservoir, built alongside Tungarli Lake in the region of Rajmachi. The dam helps for irrigation facilities and water supply to the Lonavala city. You can enjoy lush green surroundings here. You can also visit to Wax Museum, Tiger’s Leap, Lonavala Lake, Amrutanjan Point and Duke’s Nose. Later free for shopping, return back to hotel and overnight stay at Lonavala hotel.

Day 03: Lonavala – Panchgani (225 Km) Travel time 5/6 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Lonavala hotel and drive to Panchgani. Arrival at Panchgani, check in to your pre booked hotel. After refresh, proceed for sightseeing tour of Panchgani and visit to Sydney Point – The point is situated 2 Km from Panchgani bus stand, on a hillock facing the Krishna Valley. One can see from here the glittering waters of the Dhom Dam and Pandavgad and Mandhardeo (Enjoy boat ride at Dhom Dam Lake). Parsi Point – This scenic point is situated on the way to Mahabaleshwar and overlooks the Krishna valley and the blue shiny waters of the Dhom Dam. Also visit to Bhilar Waterfall, later return back to hotel and free for your own activities and overnight stay at Panchgani hotel.

Day 04: Panchgani – Mahabaleshwar (70 Km) Travel time 2 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Panchgani hotel and drive to another hill station of Maharashtra as Mahabaleshwar. Arrival at Mahabaleshwar, check in to your pre booked hotel. Mahabaleshwar – Is a hill station in the state of Maharashtra, India, it lies at an altitude of 1373 Meters above from the sea level, in the Sahyadri Ranges. After breakfast check out from Mahabaleshwar hotel and drive to Alibaug. Upon arrival at Alibaug, check in to hotel. Alibag – Also known as Alibaug is a coastal town, located at just south of Mumbai, Maharashtra in western India. It is known for its beaches like Alibag Beach and Varsoli Beach. After refresh and some rest, proceed for sightseeing tour of Alibaug and visit to Khanderi Fort, Undheri Fort, Kulaba Fort, Janjira Fort, Kihim Beach, Alibagh Beach and Akshi Beach. Later, return back to hotel and free for your own activities and overnight stay at Alibaug hotel.

Day 06: Alibagh – Mumbai Departure Airport/Railway Station (104 Km) Travel time 2/3 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Alibag/Alibaug hotel and drive back to Mumbai, on arrival at Mumbai transfer to Mumbai Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for your further journey back to home or onward destination.
