ABOUT DESTINATIONS

Mumbai – Is the eastern equivalent of New York City and Los Angeles. Mumbai is a financial and entertainment (Bollywood) capital of the country. Places of interest include Haji Ali Dargah situated about 500 yards from the shoreline in the middle of the Arabian Sea. Along with being a religious place, it is a great attraction for tourists; more than ten thousand people of all religions visit the place every day. Gateway of India, The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a humongous architectural stone structure built by the British more than 200 years ago, Downtown Mumbai – reminiscent of the 19th century British architecture. Girgaon Chowpatty Beach, Madh island Beach and other Beaches towards the south of Mumbai. Elephanta Caves, carved out of a giant stone on an island are a short ferry away into the Arabian Sea. Due to its cosmopolitan nature, Mumbai has proven a popular tourism destination most often visited by Indians.

Kanha National Park, also known as Kanha Tiger Reserve, is one of the Tiger Reserves of India and the largest National Park of Madhya Pradesh. The park is located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The park has a significant population of Bengal Tiger, Indian Leopards, the Sloth Bear, Barasingha and Indian Wild Dog. The elevated plateau of Bamhnidadar is home to birds of prey. Animals often gather at the watering holes of Sondar Tank and Babathenga Tank.

Bandhavgarh National Park – Located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This park is known for its large population of royal Bengal Tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Other animals include white tigers, leopards and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grassland is home to scores of bird species, including eagles. To the south are the remains of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.

Khajuraho – The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a group of Hindu and Jain temples in Madhya Pradesh, India. They are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. The temples are famous for their Nagara style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. Most Khajuraho temples were built between 950 and 1050 by the Chandela dynasty. Khanuraho is most popular tourist destination for Indian and foreign tourist.

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai

Arrive at Mumbai, our representative will pick you from Mumbai Airport/Railway station and will transfer to your pre booked hotel. After refresh, free for your own activities or in the evening you can visit famous Juhu Beach and enjoy spectacular view of sun set. You can also taste here mouth watering “Pav Bhaji” and “Bhel Poori”. Later return back to your hotel and overnight stay at Mumbai hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai Local Sightseeing Tour

 After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Mumbai and explore several tourist attractions of Mumbai and visit to Shree Siddhivinayak Temple – Provides tourists with fascinating insight into Mumbai's spiritual life. Mahalakshmi Temple – Mahalaxmi Temple is one of the most famous temples of Mumbai situated on Bhulabhai Desai Road in Mahalaxmi area. It is dedicated to Mahalakshmi the central deity of Devi Mahatmyam. Haji Ali Dargah – Haji Ali Dargah is a Mosque and Dargah (Tomb), located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern part of Mumbai. Near the heart of the city, the Dargah is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Mumbai. Gate of India – The Gateway of India is an arch monument built during the 20th centuary in Bombay. The Gateway of India is located on the waterfront at Apollo Bunder area at the end of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg in South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea. The monument has also been referred to as the Taj Mahal of Mumbai and is the city's top tourist attraction. Marine Drive – Marine Drive is a 3.6 Km long boulevard in South Mumbai. Marine Drive is known as the “Queen's Necklace” because, if viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. Chaupati Beach – Chaupati is one of the famous public beaches adjoining Marine Drive in the Girgaon area of Mumbai. The beach is noted for its Ganesh Visarjan celebrations when thousands of people from all over Mumbai and Pune come to immerse the idols of Lord Ganesh in the Arabian Sea. You can also visit to Prince of Wales Museum/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya and Hanging Garden. Later return back to hotel and free for your own activities or free for shopping by your own and overnight stay at Mumbai hotel.

Day 03: Mumbai – Nagpur (By Air) – Kanha (285 Km) Travel time 6 hours

After breakfast check out from Mumbai hotel and transfer to Mumbai Airport to board the flight to Nagpur. Arrive at Nagpur, pick up from Nagpur Airport and straight drive to Kanha National Park. Upon arrival at Kanha, check in to hotel. After refresh free for your own activities and overnight stay at Kanha hotel/resorts/guest house.

Day 04: Kanha National Park Jungle Safari Tour

Enjoy early morning safari at Kanha National Park, the park has a significant population of Bengal Tiger, Indian Leopards, the Sloth Bear, Barasingha and India Wild Dog. Later return back to hotel for breakfast. After refresh and some rest, enjoy evening safari at Kanha National Park and overnight stay in Kanha hotel/Resort/Guest House. (Safari by your own cost)

Day 05: Kanha – Bandhavgarh (255 Km) Travel time 5/6 hours

After breakfast check out from Kanha hotel/resort and drive to Bandhavgarh. Arrive at Bandhavgarh National Park. Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh, check in to hotel/resort. After refresh free for your own activities and overnight stay at Bandhavgarh hotel/resorts/guest house.

Day 06: Bandhavgarh National Park Jungle Safari

After breakfast, enjoy Jeep/Elephant safari at Bandhavgarh National Park. During the Jeep or Elephant safari in the park, one might spot Sloth Bear, Leopard, House Crow, Nilgai, Spotted Deer, Rock Pigeon, Chausingha, Chinkara, Dhol, Gaur, Black Stork, Lesser Whistling Teal, Spotted Dove and Pied Bushcat. After safari visit to famous Bandhavgarh Fort, later return back to hotel/resort and overnight stay at Bandhavgarh hotel/Resort/Guest House. (Safari by your own cost)

Day 07: Bandhavgarh + Khajuraho Temple Tour (Western Groups of Temples) 250 Km – Travel time 5 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Bandhavgarh hotel/resort and drive to Khajuraho. Arrival at Khajuraho and transfer to hotel, check in to your pre booked hotel. After refresh, today you will visit Western group of Khajuraho temples such as Chitragupta Temple is an 11th century temple, dedicated to Surya Dev (Sun God). Vishvanatha Temple is a Hindu temple in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is located among the western group of Khajuraho Monuments. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is also known as "Vishvanatha" meaning "Lord of the Universe". Lakshmana Temple is a Hindu temple built by Yashovarman, located in the Western Temple complex in Khajuraho. This temple is dedicated to Vaikuntha Vishnu – as aspect of Vishnu. Matangeshvara Temple is a Shiva temple in the Khajuraho town. It is located among the Western group of temples. Among the Chandela-era monuments of Khajuraho, it is the only Hindu temple that is still actively used for worship. Later return back to hotel and free for your own activities or explore local market of Khajuraho and overnight stay at Khajuraho hotel. 

Day 08: Khajuraho Eastern Groups of Temples Tour – Delhi Departure

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Khajuraho and visit to Eastern group of Khajuraho Temples such as Parshvanatha Temple is a 10- century Jain temple located in the Eastern group of Khajuraho Monuments. It is now dedicated to Parshvanatha. The temple entrance has an inscription with a most-perfect magic square. Ghantai Temple, also known as the Ghanti Temple, is a ruined Jain temple in the Khajuraho. Similar in style to the Parshvanatha temple, it was dedicated to the Jain Tirthankara Rishabhanatha. Adinatha Temple is a Jain temple located at Khajuraho. It is dedicated to the Jain Tirthankara Adinatha, although its exterior walls also feature Hindu deities. This is the last of Jain temples built around here. The temple is magnificently decorated with different sculpted figures including those of "Yakshis". Duladeo Temple is a Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of a linga, which is deified in the sanctum. Dulodeo means "Holy Bridegroom". The temple is also known as "Kunwar Math". Chaturbhuja Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The name Chaturbhuj is a derived from Sanskrit, which literally means one who has four arms and refers to Lord Vishnu. This is the only temple in Khajuraho which lacks erotic sculptures. After these wonder full temples tour, return back to hotel and check out from hotel, transfer to Khajuraho Airport to board the flight to Delhi for your onward destination.
