Madurai – Is an ancient city, located on the Vaigai River in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Madurai is one of the oldest cities of India and was ruled by Pandya kings over most of its history. The city is famous for its rich heritage and promoting Tamil language through "Sangams". Its skyline is dominated by the 14 colorful gopurams (Gateway Towers) of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Covered in bright carvings of Hindu gods, the Dravidian-style temple is a major pilgrimage site. Madurai is famous for the Chithirai Festival which takes place during mid April-May, during the Hindu month of Chithirai. Madurai is also famous for its yearly bull run "Jallikattu" which coincides with Pongal festival in the month of January.

Rameswaram – Is a town on the Pamban Island, in the South East Indian state of Tamil Nadu, India. It’s known for its famous Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with the longest corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet. Rameswaram is the closest point from which to reach Sri Lanka from India and geological evidence suggests that the Rama Sethu was a former land connection between India and Sri Lanka. It is said that this is the place from where the Hindu God Rama built a bridge across the sea to Lanka to rescue his wife Sita from her abductor Ravana. The Ramanathaswamy Temple is the most famous historic landmark of the town. Located in the centre of town at Rameshwaram, Ramanathaswamy Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva. 

Kanyakumari – Also known as Kanniyakumari, formerly known as Cape Comorin, is a town in Kanyakumari District in the South Indian State of Tamil Nadu in India. The name comes from the Devi Kanya Kumari Temple in the region. It is the southernmost tip of peninsular India. Kanyakumari town is the southern tip of the Cardamom Hills, an extension of the Western Ghats range. The nearest town is Nagercoil, the administrative headquarters of Kanyakumari District, 22 km away. Kanyakumari has been a town since Sangam period and is a popular tourist destination. Though there are several places of tourist interest in the town and district, Kanyakumari is especially popular in India for its spectacular and unique sunrise and sunset, thanks to its being nearly surrounded by waters. On balmy, full-moon evenings (locally called Chitra Pournami), one can also see the moon-rise and sunset at the same time.

Day 01: Arrival at Madurai + Madurai Sightseeing Tour

Upon arrival at Madurai, our representative will meet you and will assist you to transfer to your pre booked hotel. Check in to hotel. After refresh and some rest, proceed to visit famous Meenakshi Temple – Is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River in the temple city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It is about 460 Km southwest from Chennai city, the state capital of Tamil Nadu. The temple is a major pilgrimage destination, dedicated to Meenakshi Devi and Shiva. It is a large temple complex is the most prominent landmark in Madurai and attracts tens of thousands visitors a day. After lunch free for your own activities and overnight stay at Madurai hotel.

Day 02: Madurai – Rameshwaram Temple Tour (176 Km) Travel time 3/4 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Madurai hotel and drive towards Rameshwaram. Upon arrival at Rameshwaram, check in to hotel. After refresh, lunch and some rest, proceed for temple tour of Rameshwaram and visit to famous Ramanathaswamy Temple – Is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva, located on Rameshwaram Island in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is also one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples. The temple has the longest corridor among all Hindu temples in India. The temple is located in Rameshwaram considered a holy pilgrimage site for Shaivites, Vaishnavites and Smarthas. The temple is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites and has several historical references about it. Also visit to Panchamukha (five-faced) Hanuman Temple – Is situated at 2 km away from the famous Rameswaram temple. Temple is one of the most renowned temples in Rameshwaram and is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Later return back to your hotel, after refresh free for your own activities and overnight stay at Rameshwaram hotel.

Day 03: Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari Sightseeing Tour (310 Km) Travel time 6/7 hours

After early breakfast check out from Rameshwaram hotel and drive to Kanyakumari. Upon arrival at Kanyakumari, check in to hotel. Kanyakumari – Is a coastal town in the state of Tamil Nadu on India's southern tip. Jutting into the Laccadive Sea, the town was known as Cape Comorin during British rule and is popular tourist destination for watching sunrise and sunset over the ocean. After refresh proceed for sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari and visit to Devi Kanya Kumari Temple – Kanyakumari Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeth. Kanyakumari Devi Temple is situated in Tamil Nadu. Kanyakumari is a cape at the southernmost tip of the Indian peninsula. Vivekanand Rock Memorial – The Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a popular tourist monument in Vavathurai, Kanyakumari, India. The memorial stands on one of two rocks located about 500 meters east of the mainland of Vavathurai. Gandhi Memorial Mandapam – This Memorial has been built on the spot where the urn containing the Mahatma's ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion.  Thiruvalluvar Statue or Valluvar Statue – Is a 133-feet tall stone sculpture, located atop a small island near the town of Kanyakumari on the southernmost point of the Indian peninsula on the Coromandel Coast, where two seas (The Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea) and an ocean (The Indian Ocean) meet. You can also boat ride here. Evening you will get to see the Sunset at the confluence of 3 Oceans, Arabian Sea, Pacific Ocean & Indian Ocean. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay at Kanyakumari hotel.

Day 04: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum Departure (85 Km – 2 Hours) Travel time 2 Hours Airport/Railway Station
After breakfast check out from Kanyakumari hotel and drive to Trivandrum. On arrival at Thiruvananthapuram/Trivandrum, transfer to Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for further journey back to home.
