Bangalore – Also known as Bengaluru is the capital city of the South Indian state of Karnataka (Official name is Bengaluru). It has a population of over ten million, making it a megacity. It is located in southern India on the Deccan Plateau. Its elevation is about 900 Meters (3000 Ft) above from the sea level, the highest of India's major cities. The city was known as the "Garden City of India". Mysore or Mysuru – It is the third most populous city in the South Indian state of Karnataka. It is located in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills about 150 Km southwest of Bangalore. Mysore city is known as “City of Palaces”. Mysore is noted for its heritage structures and palaces, including the Mysore Palace and for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival when the city receives a large number of tourists from around the world. Mysore is one of the most prominent tourist areas of India. City has also several lakes such as The Kukkarahalli, The Karanji and The Lingambudhi lakes.

Ooty (The Queen of Hill Stations) – Is also known as Udhagamandalam and is a beautiful hill station situated at an altitude of 2286 Meters above from the sea level, in the south India state of Tamil Nadu. The town is surrounded by trees, central Ooty Lake is a huge artificial expanse of water with pleasure boats. On the slopes of nearby Elk Hill, the Rose Garden is home to over 2,000 varieties of roses. The climate in Ooty is mostly pleasant and thus one can plan a visit at any time of the year except monsoon. Ooty is located 86 Km from north of Coimbatore and 158 Km south of Mysore and is the capital of the Nilgiris district. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. The town is connected by the Nilgiri Ghat Roads and Nilgiri Mountain Railway. Its natural environment attracts tourists and it is a popular summer hill tourist destination of Tamil Nadu. Ooty is well connected to the road network. It is 306 km from Bengaluru (Via Mysore and Bandipur) 558 Km from Chennai (via Salem, Erode, and Coimbatore), 246 Km from Kannur, 180 Km from Calicut and nearly 100 Km from Wayanad. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) is one of the oldest mountain railways in Ooty, India and was declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in July 2005. It is the only Rack Railway in India and uses the Abt system. Mettupalayam which is 47 Km away from Ooty is the nearest major railway station. There are regular train services from Mettupalayam to Coimbatore and Chennai. Toy Train from Mettupalayam to Ooty covers a distance of 46 Km. The train offers to travellers with long stretches of rice fields, lofty hills, 13 tunnels and 26 viaducts. It also offers nice photographic opportunities as well. The nearest Airport is Coimbatore around 96 Km away and Major International Airport is Bengaluru (Kempegowda International Airport 273 Km away). 

Coonoor – It is located about 20 Km from Ooty, at an altitude of 1,850 Meters above from the sea level and it is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri hills after Ooty. It is an ideal point for a number of trekking expeditions leading into the Nilgiris. Coonoor is a popular tourist destination with its lush green tea gardens and scenic view points. The popular tourist places in Coonoor are Sim's Park, Lam's Rock and Dolphin's Nose View Point.

Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore + Bangalore Sightseeing Tour

Arrival at Bangalore, pick up from Bangalore Airport/Railway station and transfer to hotel, check in to hotel. After refresh, proceed for sightseeing tour of Bangalore and explore prominent tourist destinations of Bangalore and visit to Tipu Sultan's Palace – Is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. It is located at the center of Old Bangalore near the Kalasipalyam bus stand, known as one of the tourist spot of Bangalore. Nandi or Bull Temple – This ancient temple was built by the Kempe Gowda I. It is reminiscent of the 16th century Dravidian-style architecture. It has a huge granite monolith of Nandi. This temple is situated at Bull Temple Road, Basavangudi. Ulsoor Lake – It is one of the biggest lakes in Bangalore, located on the eastern side of the city, close to M G Road. Cubbon Park – Park is located in the heart of the city and spreads over 300 acres. The park is home to numerous trees and plants that span over 68 general and 96 species. The park is also known for its Kids Train. Lal Bagh – Is a botanical garden, park is home to over 1000 species of flora and a Glass House. The park is known for its annual flower show. The garden surrounds one of the towers erected by the founder of Bangalore, Kempe Gowda I. The Lal Bagh Rock is another attraction. Vidhana Soudha – Located in Bengaluru, it is the largest Legislative building in India. It is an imposing granite building, built in 1956 in the 'Neo-Dravidian' style, incorporates elements of Indo-Saracenic, Rajasthani Jharokha and Dravidian styles. Also visit to Art Galleries and Museum. Later return back to hotel and free for your own activities or explore local market of Bangalore and overnight stay at Bangalore hotel.

Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore Sightseeing Tour (150 Km) Travel time 3/4 hours (Approx)

After breakfast, check out from Bangalore hotel and drive to Mysore en route visiting Ranganthaswamy temple – Located in the Srirangapatna, in the Mandya district of Karnataka state, temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Ranganatha (Vishnu). Also visit to Srirangapatnam – Is a town in Mandya district of the South Indian state of Karnataka. Located near the Mysore city, it is of religious, cultural and historic importance. Later continue drive to Mysore, on arrival at Mysore, check in to hotel. After refresh, proceed for sightseeing tour of Mysore and explore tourist attractions of Mysore, such as Mysore Palace – Is a historical palace and a royal residence at Mysore in the southern Karnataka. It is the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty. The palace is in the centre of Mysore and faces the Chamundi Hills eastward. The architectural style of domes of the palace is commonly described as Indo-Saracenic with blends of the Hindu, Mughal, Rajput and Gothic styles. It is a three story stone structure with marble domes and has a 145 ft. five story tower. The palace is surrounded by a large garden. Mysore Palace is now one of the most famous tourist attractions in India, after the Taj Mahal. Krishna Raja Sagara – Also known as KRS, is The name of both a Lake and the Dam that creates it. It is located close to the settlement of Krishnarajasagara in the South India State of Karnataka. It is very good picnic spot. Also visit to Brindavan Gardens – Is a show garden that has a beautiful botanical park, with fountains, as well as boat rides in the river beneath the dam. Later return back to your hotel and overnight stay at Mysore hotel.

Day 03: Mysore Sightseeing Tour – Ooty (126 Km) Travel time 4 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Mysore hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Mysore and explore most popular tourist places of Mysore and visit to Mysore Zoo or Zoological Gardens – Is one of the oldest and most popular zoos in India, located on the outskirts of Mysore, the zoo is home to a wide range of wild species. Mysore Zoo is one of the popular tourist attractions of Mysore city. Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery – It is a housed of Art Gallery since the year 1915 inside the Jaganmohana Palace. The collections exhibited here include paintings from the famous Indian painter, Raja Ravi Varma, the Russian painter Svetoslav Roerich, and many paintings of the Mysore painting style. St. Philomena's Church – Is a church built in honor of St. Philomena in the Mysore city. It was constructed in 1956 using a Neo Gothic style. Chamundi Temple/Hills – Is located 13 Km east of Mysore city, in the “Palace City of Karnataka”. Its average elevation is 1,000 Meters (3,300 ft) above from the sea level. A panoramic view of the city is seen from the top of the hills, including views of the Lalitha Mahal palace, Mysore Palace, Karanji and Kukkarahalli lakes. Chamundi temple is dedicated to goddess Chamundeshwari which is located atop the main hill. Later drive to Ooty, upon arrival at Ooty, check in to hotel and overnight stay at Ooty hotel.

Day 04: Ooty + Coonoor Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Ooty and explore several prominent tourist attractions of Ooty and visit to Botanical Garden – Is a botanical garden in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. The Gardens, divided into several sections, cover an area of around 55 hectares and lie on the lower slopes of Doddabetta peak. The garden has a terraced layout. It is maintained by the Tamil Nadu Horticulture Department. Doddabetta Peak – It is the highest peak of the Nilgiris Hills at an altitude of 2,683 Meters above from the sea level, situated at about 10 Km from the Ooty, it is also the second highest peak of South India. It lies at the junction of the Western and Eastern Ghats surrounded by dense Sholas. Ooty Lake – This Lake is an artificial lake, covers an area of 65 acres. The boat house established alongside the lake, which offers boating facilities to tourists and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ooty. Also visit to another tourist attraction of Coonoor such as Sim's Park – This botanical park is in Coonoor and located at a height of 1,780 Meters above from the sea level, it is an important tourist place to visit in Coonoor. The garden is visited by thousands of tourists throughout the year and even in winter. Lamb's Rock – Is a tourist spot in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, on the slopes of the Nilgiri Hills. It is located at a distance of 8 Km from Coonoor. This place offers panoramic views of Coimbatore plains, tea estates and coffee estates. Route to this place also offers trekking opportunities. Dolphin's Nose View Point – View point is a tourist spot, located at 10 Km from Coonoor in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu. Dolphin's Nose is well over 1,000 ft. above from the sea level and is a spectacular spot to visit. The tip of the peak resembles a Dolphin's nose, hence the name Dolphin's Nose. Also visit to Tea Garden – Coonoor is known as the Tea Garden Town and explore many breath taking tea gardens. Later return back to your hotel and overnight stay at Ooty hotel.

Day 05: Ooty– Bangalore Departure Airport/Railway Station (266 Km) Travel time 6 hours

After early breakfast check out from Ooty hotel and drive back to Bangalore. On arrival Bangalore, transfer to Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for further journey back to home or onward destination.
