Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir, situated at an altitude of 1,585 Meters or 5,200 ft above from the see level. Gulmarg is a town and another beautiful hill station in Jammu & Kashmir. It is a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in Baramula district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Gulmarg lies in a cup shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, situated at an altitude of 2,650 Meters (8,694 ft). Gulmarg is the "heartland of winter sports in India" and was rated as Asia's seventh best ski destination.

Pahalgam is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is a popular tourist destination and hill station. Pahalgam is located on the banks of Lidder River at an altitude of 7,200 feet (2,200 Meters) above from see level. Pahalgam is the headquarters of one of the five Tehsils of Anantnag district. Pahalgam is associated with the annual Amarnath Yatra.

Kokernag is at the height of approx. 2,000 Meters above from sea level and located in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. Place is known for gardens, largest fresh water springs in Kashmir and for its largest rainbow trout hatchery in north India. 

Patnitop is a hilltop tourist location in Udhampur district in Jammu & Kashmir state of India. Situated on a plateau in the Shiwalik belt of the Himalayas, Patnitop sits at an altitude of 2,024 Meters (6,640 ft) above from the see level. The river Chenab flows in close proximity to this location.

Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located around 50 km from the city of Jammu. Katra serves as the base camp for pilgrims who visit Mata Vaishno Devi. To reach Vaishno Devi Mandir (Temple) the pilgrims have to register at the Katra before starting the trek. By registering, the pilgrims get accident insurance while on the trek for 1 Lakh INR. It is a trek of 14 KM. There is another trek (1.5 km) from Vaishno Devi temple for Baba Bhaironnath. It is said that the pilgrimage is not complete until you visit this temple at last. The scenery throughout the trek is picturesque. Environment friendly auto rickshaws and helicopter services are available, to make the journey a pleasant one.

Day 01: Arrival at Srinagar + Sightseeing Tour

Arrive at Srinagar, pick up from Srinagar Airport and transfer to hotel in the heart of Srinagar city by 35 minutes drive. On arrival Srinagar, check in to hotel/house boats. Srinagar – Is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir, situated at an altitude of 1,585 Meters or 5,200 ft above from the see level. Later visit to Mughal Gardens – Mughal Gardens are a group of gardens built by the Mughals in the Persian style of architecture. This style was heavily influenced by the Persian Gardens particularly the Charbagh structure. Shalimar Bagh – Is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake, on its right bank located on the outskirts of Srinagar city. Nishat Garden/Bagh – Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to Srinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. Evening explore local market of Srinagar city and overnight stay at Srinagar hotel/houseboats.

Day 02: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (85 Km) 3 Hours journey

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Sonmarg and drive to Sonmarg. Sonmarg – Is very popular tourist spot in Kashmir and is famous for its natural beauty, alpine flowers, evergreen pine trees and silver birch. Here enjoy the lovely view of the nature which is simply mesmerizing and beyond words to describe. En route visiting Kheer Bhawani – Is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Kheer Bhawani (originally just Bhawani) constructed over a sacred spring. The worship of Kheer Bhawani is universal among the Hindus of Kashmir.   On arrival at Sonmarg, take a 3 hours trek to Thajwass Glacier by walking or by horseback. Later drive back to Srinagar, dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar hotel. 

Day 03: Srinagar Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast visit to Chashma Shahi – Also called Chashme Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built in 1632 around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. This beauty full garden presents Mughal architecture as used in different Mughal gardens. The artistically build garden has Iranian influence in its art and architecture and the design is based on the Persian gardens. Pari Mahal – The Pari Mahal was built by Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh in the mid-1600s. It served as a library and an abode for him. Pari Mahal or The Angels' Abode is a seven terraces garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range over-looking city of Srinagar and south-west of Dal Lake. Shankaracharya Temple – The Shankaracharya Temple which lies on a hill top in the middle of the city and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva, besides the Kheer Bhawani Temple are important Hindu temples in the city. Tulip Garden – Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden, previously Model Floriculture Center, is a Tulip garden in Srinagar. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread over an area of about 12 hectares. It is situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range with an overview of Dal Lake. Later explore local market of Srinagar city and overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.

Day 04: Srinagar – Gulmarg (59 Km) Travel time 2/3 hours

After breakfast check out from Srinagar hotel boats and drive to Gulmarg via Tangmarg town, scenic drive of 14 Km towards Gulmarg. Afternoon arrive at Gulmarg, check in to hotel. Gulmarg is a town and another beautiful hill station in Jammu & Kashmir. It is a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee in Baramula district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Gulmarg lies in a cup shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, situated at an altitude of 2,650 Meters (8,694 ft). Gulmarg is the "heartland of winter sports in India" and was rated as Asia's seventh best ski destination. After refresh, proceed for short tour of Gondola Cable Car ride (A short ropeway ride). Later enjoy some horse riding and evening free for independent activities or explore local market of Gulmarg town and overnight stay at Gulmarg hotel.

Day 05: Gulmarg – Pahalgam (150 Km) Travel time 4/5 hours

After breakfast check out from Gulmarg hotel and drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. On arrival at Pahalgam, check in to the hotel. Pahalgam – Is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is a popular tourist destination and hill station. Pahalgam is located on the banks of Lidder River at an altitude of 7,200 feet (2,200 Meters) above from see level. Day 06: Pahalgam – Kokernag (66 Km) 2 Hours journey 

After breakfast check out from Pahalgam hotel and drive to Kokernag. Kokernag – Is at the height of approx. 2,000 Meters above from sea level and located in Anantnag distruct of Jammu & Kashmir. Place is known for gardens, largest fresh water springs in Kashmir and for its largest rainbow trout hatchery in north India. After refresh visit to Papashudan Nad – Most important tourist attraction of a tour to Kokernag is the Papashudan Nad, the magical and curative spring which draws thousands of tourists to the valley each year. Later free for independent activities and overnight stay at Kokernag hotel.

Day 07: Kokernag – Sinthan Top and Daksum – Kokernag (48 Km) 2/3 Hours drive

After breakfast, proceed for full day excursion and drive to Sinthan Top and Daksum Top. Sinthan Top – Is a hill station and a popular tourist destination located in South Kashmir’s Breng Valley (Sub-District Kokernag) in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Sinthan pass connects Kashmir valley with Jammu Province through Kistwar. It is located at an altitude of 12,500 feet (3,800 Meters) above from the sea level and is snow-capped for most of the year. Sinthan Top is known for its beauty and wonderful tourist attractions. The place is fast growing as one of the top tourist destination in Kashmir. Daksum – Located in the Green Forests of Jammu and Kashmir at Anantnag-Semthan-Kistwar road, is a natural scenic spot. It is located at an altitude of 2,438 Meters above from the sea level. Daksum is a place where you can revel in solitude and be one with nature. Pine trees; green meadows, clear gurgling brooks, fresh mountain air all promise to make your experience invigorating and long lasting. Later drive back to Kokernag, dinner and overnight stay at Kokernag hotel.

Day 08: Kokernag – Lihinwan and Margan Top/Valley – Kokernag (45 Km) 3/4 Hours 

After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Lihinwan and Margan Top. Lihinwan – It is located at an attitude of 3050 Meters above from the see level and a distance of 35 Km from Kokernag. Lihinwan is quite erratic. From the tree-covered hills. There are the snow-capped mountains which makes the beauty of this place. Margan Top/Valley – It is located at an attitude of 3550 Meters above from the see level and a distance of 45 Km from Kokernag. Margan Valley is a well known ecotourism spot in Anantnag in Jammu & Kashmir. Margan Valley is a paradise for the botanists, nature lovers, trekkers, wild lifers and eco tourists. Margan Top connects all the three divisions of J&K as Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Margan Valley has become tourist favourite because of its magnificent location and breathtaking beauty. Margan landscape is colour full and enchanting due to lush green verdant conifer forests, purling mountain brooks, sparkling streams, beautiful blooms, magnificent birdlife and diverse kinds of mammals. Evening come back to Kokernag, dinner and overnight stay at Kokernag hotel.

Day 09: Kokernag – Patnitop – Katra (222 Km) 6 Hours journey 

After breakfast check out from Kokernag hotel and drive to Katra en route visiting Patnitop and explore Naag Temple, Apple Garden and Nathatop. Later continue drive to Katra. Evening arrive at Katra, check in to hotel and overnight stay at Katra hotel.

Day 10: Katra – Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan (12 Km)

After early breakfast, trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, the holy temple which is dedicated to Shakti. You may also hire the Ponies by your own for arranged trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple which is second largest visited temple by the devotees of India after the Tirupati Balaji Temple. During the Mata Vaishno Devi trekking stop at Ardhkuwari Temple. After the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple darshan en route visit to Baba Bhaironath Temple (Compulsory visit). Later return back to Katra and overnight stay at Katra hotel. 

Day 11: Katra – Jammu Departure Airport/Railway Station (50 Km) 1/2 Hours drive

After breakfast check out from Katra hotel and transfer to Jammu Airport/Railway station to board the flight/train for further journey back to home or onward destination.
